1. Abolish the electoral college i.e. allow for the direct election of the president
  2. Abolish the senate
  3. Remove the cap on the house of reps
  4. Abolish or neuter the supreme court
  5. Move away from federalism i.e. no more state government autonomy. Consolidate states into new regions, maybe 4 or 5 at max. Governors look over these regions and are directly elected or maybe appointed by the house of reps.

Thoughts? Too far or not far enough?

    1. Establish a strong communist party
    2. The party takes over the whole us government
    3. Stop exploiting other countries
    4. Use the absurd military and wealth of the us to build communism
    5. Chill and hang out

If an equitable system is ever achieved, it'll be so unrecognizable that it would feel silly to even call it "America".

I think parliamentary systems work better and that means Nancy Pelosi should be the president. Parliamentary systems don't have divided government as much.

    :liberalism:

Also the parliament should be mixed member. Half the seats should be given to underrepresented parties. So the person you voted for may end up in parliament even if they lose if their party is underrepresented. This stops gerrymandering from being effective.

It'll make elections less frustrating, but really the only things that can fix America is seizing control of the means of production, outlawing all TV news except PBS, and dissolving the military industrial complex.

Abolish the United States of America. This leaves 52 independent nations with a fraction of the power the old USA once had.

In terms of constitutional fixes these all make sense and would make the US far more democratic than it is now. Dunno if you have to consolidate states or anything, just federalize a bunch of programs like Medicaid, unemployment insurance, etc that have no business being run by the states in the first place.
