Actually, those are more of a symbolic "we don't like you". Afaik the local governments that created those can't really enforce a ban on LGBT+ people within its border, nor does one exist (yet :yea: )
However, those areas are both full of boomers and aggressive young fash which will probably harass and attack the queer communities even without an official mandate, and it's likely the justice system will do little to stop them.

Neo-Nazi and other fascist gangs become prominent to this day, with varied amounts of violence.
since 1989: 33% of the railway network is dismantled, and Poland becomes the country in Europe with the most cars per capita. Thus, road accidents and death by reckless drivers are very common.
Despite the loss of sanctions and punitive interest rates on foreign debt: Still dependent on coal, high working hours, shortage of skilled labor due to high emigration. People's standards of living plummet, except for the PMC and other wealthy people. Corruption is commonplace everywhere.
It's more because late Polish People's Republic was the most dysfunctional socialist state, so it got kinda less fucked.
His government was more of a Nazbol one than a bunch of bureaucrats that didn't believe in socialism in the slightest
