      I also thought of that. I've just assumed it was Santa Claus ever since I was a kid

      I think there are some older less Coca Cola-y Finnish Santa illustrations where he's shown walking through forests with a sack on his back

            Nah, I think you're right. My folks had some little Santa dolls that were done up in brown and had walking sticks and sacks.

      Those classic European 80s cartoons that they used to rerun on public boradcast channels in the 90s(That were probably all animated in like Japan or Korea anyway)
