So since my last post where I told y'all I caught my manager stealing product at the weed store I worked at some stuff has happened..

I tried making it explicitly clear to them that they've been abdicating their duty to ensure correct inventory as mandated by the state but they seemingly do not give a fuck at all and are willing to eat fines instead of treat their employees properly. They let me go for raising the issue and I have a witness who will go to bat for me saying I was fired for talking about management theft.

Currently working on an email to the state MJ authorities to let them know all the fuckery I witnessed /w the inventory. Trying to make sure anyone they might hire after me doesn't go through the same shit.

Met up w/ former coworkers today who say they're willing to support me if I submit complaints to the state so I may have to drop dimes on these fuckers to make sure they don't accuse any more workers of theft due to negligence.

Feels bad kinda dropping dimes but I know they deserve it 100%... if they were willing to listen to us at all I might feel different.... but fuck it I"m bout to send an email and hopefully destroy a whole business. Hows yalls night going.

I would threaten to drop the dime first. Getting the place shut down and them knowing it was you could be really fucking dangerous.

Okayyy, cause at least in my neck of the woods black market people moved into a grey market where the storefront is on the up and up but the supply line is sketchy and there's a skim taken in either cash or product. The official stores are government run and are also supplied by former illegal networks that now can do legit business on the side. Legalization was kind of a formality and nothing was done to undercut the black market or provide better quality so most legit weed stuff still has connections that you wouldn't want your name attached to a loss of their money.

Iirc, the "someone stealing weed" here is a manager who is the child of the bougie scumfuck that owns the place and treats the employees like shit.

Who could easily have criminal connection. High scale weed operations are still going through black market channels even if the storefront is clean. Might not be smart to fuck with that.

Yeah, I'd try to leverage to wet my beak, that's considered okay and expected if anything. Snitching could lead to real fucking problems especially if it gets the place shut down, that shit could get you killed.

Yeah, I’d try to leverage to wet my beak,

Tried as hard as I could w/o setting myself up to get popped for blackmail. They were completely unwilling to listen.

Edit: also def no criminal element here. they're bougie trumpkins who never leave the suburbs.

Fuck hiding crimes for shitty managers. I understand the fear of retribution angle, but don't become part of a criminal conspiracy when the manager is likely going to try to pin the blame on you. If you are five-fingering it for yourself, more power to you!

The corporation ain't going to hire a lawyer for your ass when the manager gets pulled in.

When i looked at OP’s history i didnt see the post where they said the manager was pinning thefts on the workers there.

In light of that, i can only say :gui-better:

If the state goes in and finds inventory missing then everyone in the store is going to have to hire lawyers.

State power being used against the ownership class to defend workers is kinda the vibe here

I was trying to protect a coworker who I thought may have been stealing but they gave me the ok to write the state. Thanks for the dumbass comment tho.

I'm saying I was not trying to send my coworker to prison. They gave me the ok to report the boss for theft. Either they didn't steal or they're comfortable with how well they stole. Stealing is 100% good you'll find no argument here.

edit: unless you're stealing from workers ofc which is what this is all about
