So... he when he picked a fight with the USSR, he was just chasing the dragon?
You know all those "When the Nazis came to our country, they gave us chocolate" old people stories and shit? Yeah...
Isn't this normal to all armies in the world? like I know pilots take drugs because of the sheer number of hours they put into combat missions (sometimes even more than one sortie per day). I know the germans were a pervitin-driven army, but that doesn't make them stand out imo.
correct modafinil is the drug the us military uses. In the past it was literally amphetamine
Does anyone know if that book Blitzed by Norman Ohler is a good source about the Nazis and drugs? I really enjoyed it, but I was talking to someone about it who had a history background and they hand waved it away as exaggerated pop history.
I was curious and searched r/askhistorians and found this
I don't think there was any actual Chocolate in Panzerschokolade
I know we like to say like, "All right wing politics are sexual pathology" and maybe I'm off the mark but tbh I kinda wonder how much of right wing politics is just meth talking.
Pervitin pretty fucked up, they used 35 million doses for the France operation alone
I remember there was a struggle session on Fash reddit years back over whether stims were 'removed' or not because of the Nazi meth chocolate :tito-laugh:
Fash struggle session topics sound hilarious, know of any others? it would be cool if there was a list or something
"Is Richard Spencer an FBI Agent?" is apparently a fairly big one lmao
I mean, Spencer does seem to have the most stereotypical Fed-upbringing, and his constant media-appearances didn't really get them much sympathy either.
Yeah true, also a lot of alt right leadership have been confirmed to be informants (like that Tarrio guy from the Proud Boys)
