There are literally studies showing what families have spent the money on. It was mostly food and clothing.
you could also just look outside of the us and see that maybe a country of similar size and population like brazil, has done these programs for years and people used this money to buy appliances and food, and that the benefits of that program are so obvious that even right wing politicians would promise to no touch it, maybe look at the healthcare system too, it would be kinda humiliating even if a country that has a fraction of the american economy had a single payer system that no joke YOU could use for free if you came over here and got sick
