The chud lives five miles away. He might offer to drive the dude to his house, he might not. He definitely won't drive the dude back to his camp.
No sane person would take this offer, or get in a car with someone who offered it. But the chud's takeaway is that "I just saw a homeless person turn down a $40/hr job. That's more than I make! They obviously just don't want to work."
Calling them chuds is optimistic. Every homeless related post on reddit is filled with "I'm very progressive but don't want to see dirty drug addicts everytime I go for a jog in the park".

Lol it sounds like basic survival to not believe unrealistic job offers. I'd assume at best they're fucking with me, or they want to kill me.
