Other cities use a combination of the two methods from what I've heard, so that less well-off people have a chance while also allowing them to raise some significant revenue from the wealthy. These restrictions on new license plates allow the cities to manage congestion and keep air pollution low. Also, there are separate quotas for hybrids/electric cars which give better lottery odds.
I don't know, my point was more that 75 mile range is fine for large swaths ofs people. Size of the country has little correlation with distance of trips taken, that's mostly a planning thing.

I thought it degrades a lot more in colder climate. So, extreme climate degradation then.
Hot conditions will degrade overall life of the battery, while the battery is capable of holding less charge during extreme cold temperatures. They screw you coming and going.

Several reasons
- They can get away with charging more in the imperial core than they can in China
- AFAIK China subsidises electric cars whereas Denmark taxes them
- They're all made in China anyways. You save on shipping.
