After seeing Insrcyption on the top of many 2021 hitlist, i buckled down and got it yesterday.
It fucking rocks. It surprising, extremely well made, both artistically and gameplay wise. If you have any interest in card-based fighting or just strategic/turn based games you should get it.

I've said this line so many times about Inscryption after my friends ask if they should play it. After I answer the inevitable follow up question "Is it a roguelike?" they are no longer interested which is frustrating because I'm trying not to spoil anything for them. My friends don't trust me :sadness:
oh yeah it definitely needs the continual introduction of new mechanics and deck resets to stay fresh the whole time, if it was a normal card battler it would break way too quick.

Thought it was a roguelike, but what I ended up getting was arguably cooler
It's good, but I feel it's a bit short and too easy. Also IIRC the
spoiler
story isn't finished because the ARG doesn't have an ending yet.
