Even if not, not being given a hard time DESPITE our different races really is a sentence that comes with some baked in assumptions. Maybe hold higher standards here.
Cops are good, one of them didn't harrass me because of my race! This is something to be praised and not just what should be expected as baseline human behavior
Most of the cops I’ve interacted with have been nice and friendly. It doesn’t change the fact that if their superiors decided to beat and shoot me, they’ll likely turn the other way and not report anyone because they’re cowards who are afraid of being killed by their own “partners.”
My first thought was, Asian American PMC type who lives in a bougie suburb who got pulled over to be given a friendly notice that his left taillight was out.

could be a a bougie poc who lives in a nice suburb. Those cops in my experience seem more bored than anything and are pretty chill compared to urban cops who have a much stronger racist streak. If anything, people in HOA's are worse than their local police.
The western world is so obsessed with race. Humanity needs to commune with Mother Gaia.
