I mean, all that trillions of military hardware we have lying around has to get used eventually. Eventually things will crack enough that the federal government isn't able to enforce its will across the former U.S., but that's probably decades off. Could also lead to a new Warlord Period as cops and soldiers realize they still have most of the guns and no one there to say how to use them.

It seems to be the difference between dying on your feet or on your knees.

I'm saying this not to be a doomer but as someone with organizing experience: A lot of Americans would prefer to die on their knees. Standing up takes effort, and there's no gaurantee it'll amount to anything.

There's a long road ahead of us still to develop the working class' revolutionary potential.

Wait wait wait, are you saying you still have hope that moderates can be turned around? Lately I've been assuming that the most domesticated of humans would have to die out before anything gets done.

I've seen ex-moderates become communists, but also Q-people and open fascists and weird religious new agey types. So it's a toss up, really.

Never did like Gatcha game mechanics. Than again, I know that moderates with unexplored bigotry can break left because that describes ME. The SaniFlush of barely four or five years ago would be another statistic in a conflict like this.

What can we do to put our thumb on the scale? We have a better world to build and I want as many people enjoying it with me as possible.
