It's disgusting how many people are defending/justifying the shooter. On a tweet about the guy who attacked the shooter with a skateboard to prevent him from killing more the replies are crawling with shit like "play stupid games win stupid prizes" and "the kid was just defending himself!". Holy shit the black pill is real, tell me that you can read this shit without feeling the urge to line these scumbags up and wall them.

I can't stand that "play stupid games, win stupid prizes" shit. I know there's probably a better-articulated reasoning behind why it's such a fucking shitty phrase, but it just reeks of such condescending dismissiveness.

We should appropriate it and use it whenever there's retaliation when the police murder someone

"wHy aRe tHeY sETTinG tHinGS oN fIRe???"

"Play stupid games, win stupid prizes" shrugs

        Or during any revolution.

"Why did they kill the Romanovs?"

“Play stupid games, win stupid prizes”

I hate it because it looks and sounds bad and it's become a reddit-favorite thought-terminating cliché. What, exactly, is a "stupid prize?" A "stupid prize" isn't a thing! I don't lament "oh man, I sure got a stupid prize today!" when something bad happens.

What was wrong with "reap what you sow?"

Not to mention if this script was flipped, they'd be telling the shooter he "played a stupid game and won a stupid prize" for being charged for murdering two people in defense of a gas station or whatever.
