What the key point of contention is, is the specious claim(s) of genocide, murder, rape, slavery, forced sterilization, and organ harvesting.

What (most) of us here, particularly those in the US, can do, is "something" about the US's own human rights abuses vis-a-vis Gitmo, slave labor, police brutality, imperialism, war crimes, etc. The government is supposed to be accountable to its own citizens, is it not? Holodomor was a famine that occurred through error in a region that had a famine every few years for the last 100 years of its existence. It was then named(by nazis) to liken it to the holocaust and make the claim that it was intentional. Any amount of reading confirms this. Even the soviet archives confirmed this after they were opened. It was also the last famine of the region as problems were finally resolved following it.
