If another source outside the imperial core, just ONE fucking credible source from South America, the middle east, etc would corroborate the claims without citing the already compromised testimonies and "research" of the likes of Zenz et al, then I'd be more inclined to believe it. I don't deny there are prisons in Xinjiang. I don't deny they are specifically for Uighurs. What the key point of contention is, is the specious claim(s) of genocide, murder, rape, slavery, forced sterilization, and organ harvesting.
This all seems terrible and dystopic to our sensitive western eyes, but we forget that we've done and are doing the same and worse. We, as activists, are focusing on the wrong bad guys, however.

As I said in the previous message, they were founded to attack the USSR, they were later expanded to attack south american socialism and cuba, followed by moves into Asia and then to support imperialism in Africa. You are absolutely kidding yourself if you think this organisation's job is not to support the US against whatever the state labels as its current target of imperialism.

This whole situation is probably very fucked, and the most westerners can do to stop this is get the US out of Afghanistan and stop funding Islamic fundamentalists that bleed over the boarder into China which in order to contain, they are using detention and surveillance to stop terrorism, while very likely not in the death camp style of the Nazi's. If the US is no longer threatening China by allowing terrorists to go in, this will very likely stop which will in turn drastically improve the lives of all peoples of China.
