I am once again requesting a Lone Star Tick emoji to save these people from themselves. I had to labour in ms paint to make this just give me an alpha gal allergy please.

I think my favourite one is the one about heating raw milk. That's pasteurization we already invented that.

Real question here. To them, to these insecure :le-pol-face: that think eating a salad will make their invincible macho man energy instantly drain away, what IS the supposed upside to all of this gastrointestinal self-harm that they themselves admit to? Is it just sheer spite for vegans? Peer pressure from other manbabies? What?

I think it might just be sheer contrarianism.

Everyone is telling them to eat vegetables to be healthy, and they don't like being told what to do.
Like anti-vaxxers, they form online echo chambers and convince themselves that they are part of the community of outsiders who know the real truth. There is money to be made and so "Doctors" appear and begin confirming their beliefs while selling supplements.

And like anti-vaxxers they just ignore all the bad things that happen as a result of their choices.

Also the average person in the US is so unhealthy, due to a myriad of reasons, that people want some extreme other option, whatever is furthest away from conventional health advice.

You would think 14 days of diarrhea would be a clue that maybe the diet isn't what your body needs

"I only ate chicken breast and ground beef"

I don't understand how people don't realize that you have to eat a lot of the "gross" parts of animals to have a somewhat balanced diet going carnivore. Also going factory-meat pumped full of steroids and hormones sure is a return to caveman.

I remember reading YouTube comments from a guy who gave me real :a-guy: vibes who ate raw meat he hunted himself and even he understood you have to eat a liver and kidney at some point.

Inuits who are probably the only not-vegan ethical diet understand that you have to eat every part of an animal if you want something resembling health.

I guess being so reactionary that you reject vegetables=healthy means you're more likely to do it out of contrarianism than actual benefit.

even Inuits had accelerated aging that was documented by mayo explorers

too much meat is just biologically stressful, even at the limits of human evolution (which your average anglo-german isn't even close to having undergone). hats off to the epic bacon carnivores for taking one for the team tho

What is even the point of the carnivore diet anyway? Even if all meats grew on trees that sounds disgusting.

Even if you're an omni, veganism should make more sense than carnivore diets.
