Someone once said that LinkedIn is social media for demons, and they were absolutely right. Also if I have to see another dumb ass car-salesman from my hometown talk about the importance of hard work and good work ethic, i'm gonna go do adventurism.

It’s completely terrible will make you want to peel your eyes. On the other hand I’ve gotten jobs from it, so who’s to say if it’s good or bad.

Quite a few people got jobs and favors by kissing ass in royal courts, too. Doesn't make them good.

Quite a few royal physicians gave their lieges lead poisoning or sepsis from blood letting, so... Not sure where I'm going with this but I enjoy the thought of monarchs suffering and dying.

No. In world history. Which as we all know is over, so I'm not suggesting anything applicable in our current times.

The neoliberal world order is eternal. The masses will embrace atomization and al la carte purchasing of identity markers forever and ever. Caring about things is dumb because everything is getting better. :pinker:

You can just say you want to murder the rich here.

Specific plans to do it are when the mods step in iirc

I barely use it for anything but job search, and sharing stuff i wrote that makes me look like a competent professional, since some people care about it when asking for freelance work. I maintain a completely separate online identity on linkedin, but It's relatively easy to sprinkle some hot takes inbetween the bullshit. I draw the line at those motivational-ass posts though.

i've been tempted to make one, only to post communist propaganda, problem is I don't work in a field where LinkedIn is used at all.
