The sheer stupidity in those comments is amazing. Really white Americans can be the most cosseted lazy morons in history. Any other person would have that amount of lazy privilege beaten out of them by the world, but no the biggest problem facing these people is that the government takes ~20% of their income as taxes; a portion of which still comes back to them in services. I think the most infuriating thing about dealing with people like this, which I used to have to on the regular, is how certain they are that they are 100% self made independent people who worked hard for everything they have; and not what they actually are which is the giant fat indolent maw of consumption at the end of a global chain of value extraction.
