I just want to watch the opening ceremony of the damn Olympics and they have to make the entire process of watching even fucking ads on their shit streaming platform a dumpsterfire

The fucking bastards even made it impossible to watch it on the fucking Olympics yourube page

For the life of God and his daemons, does anyone know where to watch the full opening ceremony?

The thing I hate most about NBC is the constant "mugging" (to use a term from Citations needed :citations-needed: ). They are constantly pointing out the obvious and acting like they are deciphering a hidden code of knowledge the "rube" viewer couldn't possibly parse. The commentary is just worst combo of audio filler and obvious observation.

"Czechia, that's a country in Eastern Europe, right Bob?"

      "Yes Jane, it is."

Jane: You don't have to be a dick about it, Bob.

Bob: You don't have to be drunk all the time, Jane.

Jane: Look, it's Albania! You cheated on your wife with a woman from there, right?

Bob: That's right, Jane! And now the French team has appeared. See, Jane, not all French people are like the guy who stood you up at the altar.

Don't forget about all subtle not subtle china bashing. Gotta love they make an aside every 15 minutes to talk about how "p0l1tiCal tHe GaMEs aRE" fucking tools

God damn. Remember when the Olympics wasn't about countries competing with one another?

Torrents from the Eurosport channel. I haven't watched the opening ceremonies but the commentary on the sports hasn't waded into any of the insane jingoism or cHiNa BaD rhetoric that NBC has been pushing hard

Try this OP: https://github.com/iptv-org/iptv. It's not exactly what you're looking for you maybe you can fine a live stream from a country that isn't as propagandized.

There's almost certainly an IPTV channel somewhere. Check iptv.cat for some. Get the URL and punch it into MPV or VLC.

I eventually found the full ceremony from the BBC via torrent, on the old Pirate Bay.

Watching the actual games through ProtonVPN in Canada.
