Yeah, I get that part. I just have been thinking more about the whole "world's most divorced man" formula and divorce jokes lately. I've had two friends go through divorces recently and have been trying to be more aware of how people talk about it and what message these jokes are sending.

Yeah, it seems like there's an incredible amount of horny energy related to this. "I want them to get a divorce so I can have a chance with her" seems to be almost universally the motivating factor for all of this.

No interest is paid to the quality or health of the relationship (not that that would be better from rando posters for public figures) which basically just leaves the whole thing leaning into women as trophies. To be fair, maybe he changed over the years. He did have a life altering stroke. It's more common than you think for people to change in terms of personality, life goals, political and moral beliefs, various other ways after these kinds of things. Weather it be a stroke, a major operation, or health scare.
