I do have to wonder, though. I live about a quarter mile from the railroad tracks. Those train horns are not audible even with a pair of regular headphones, much less noise cancelling ones. I don't have any trouble sleeping through them; my parent said it took about a week after they moved in to not get woken up by then. Truck horns are generally even less loud.
So like, barring the handful of people that have a trucker essentially in front of their apartment, I really don't think this is as big a deal as people are making it out to be. Ignoring the fact that you can just pick the lock to get in the cab, there is a mechanical override on the airbrakes for just this sort of problem, every trucker and tow operator knows this. Each air brake cylinder has a caging bolt, spin that in and it free the brakes, all you need is a 3/4" wrench
