Mild tangent but in the interior of British Columbia along certain highways you'll pass a couple of "miro-deserts" that only last a few kilometers. It genuinely feels like an underbudget open world game with how quickly and suddenly you go from green forest to arid shrubs
I just appreciate the solitude both biomes can offer.
Left: goofy dudes having a laugh for the camera
Right: Remorseless murderers
Forest: Full of ticks, deer are boring, raccoons cute but violent
Desert: Bugs are kind enough to add fluids to your blood, armadillos keep digging, cactus full of water and prickly pears
Forest gets cold, it rains, there's mud and snow. Desert it's just hot, you can wear the same outfit daily, no need to shovel snow or avoid roads that are flooded.
Deserts get cold as shit dude. Without moisture in the atmosphere to insulate heat, the night sky radiates it all away like that.
(Imagine I snapped my fingers at the end there)
I like forests and trees so much that I named myself after a tree. I don't have anything else to add. Actually, can we have c/trees? I visited r/trees once and was disappointed when it was just about smoking weed :(
a /c/nature (so we can also include other flora and animals) would be pretty cool actually
Walter whites power came from the desert. when he was living in a snowy forest he lost sight of his sigma grindset
We need more retro political emojis. Give us an empty chair to yell at, mods.
A strong contender for sure, but I would strongly disagree.
Forests are better in summer, desert is better the other 3 seasons. Snowy forests are pretty but I don't want to deal with EXISTING in them
