This is not weird for fascists, particularly Nazis. They've always presented "the beauty of the master race" and compared it to an "ugliness of [pre-emptive redacting of de-*s word]". Beauty vs. its antithesis is a very important part of their reactionary culture war propaganda and is one way in which they construct an identity that, according to them, must be "protected" through genocidal aggression. There are a lot of cultural tie-ins one could go into but it's really just reactionary culture to its core.

When you post attractive leftist women, they pretend colored hair or eyeliner wings aren't attractive.

        or hasan or something

or my bf. if i posted my bf most conservatives would cream themselves and ask his workout routine. in fact he gets approached by random chuds at the grocery store for that. he loves telling them to put a mask on or he'll get them out of his face

The author starts by saying this study confirms what they believe, then explicitly rejects the conclusions and causal mechanisms described by the study. He offers an alternative explanation, oh wait, no he just devolves into a screed about how fascists are so hot and leftists are all ugly. They're so ugly and they hate us because they're ugly and jealous.

    Great stuff, top notch analysis.

i am reminded of the very problematic meme of the neo-nazi and the german propaganda poster of the supposed "untermenschen" that he resembles very closely

It's actually kind of disturbing how many "I only play humans in fantasy and sci-fi games that look specifically like me but are more chiseled and muscular and openly express desires to purge the xenos" :le-pol-face: are out there. I am related to some, have gone to class and roomed with some, and have worked with some professionally. Most of them did that in World of Warcraft in particular or "Cerberus did nothing wrong humanity fuck yeah" runs in the Mass Effect series or "Nord master race" genocide runs in Skyrim. :heated-gamer-moment:

Fascists do generally pick nord as the their character (or I guess imperial if theyre southern european). They also always side with the Stormcloaks in the skyrim civil war storyline.

youre so 'good looking' cuz youre professional media personalities with professional photographers and professional makeup artists, the people presented have gone through dozens of barriers which select for attractiveness and presentability

it's literally okay to body shame these people. it's fine.

Ann Coulter or Jared Taylor come also to mind… but it’s a bit cherry-picking I guess.

    lmao

FyI the picture of the suffragettes and the sign "Lips that touch liquor shall not touch ours" is most likely satirical.

I've seen it in many places, with a lot of different, contradictory claims. Often, websites claim one of the women is Carrie Nation, but they never agree which woman is Nation, and they never have a source.

According to the Thomas Edison National Historic Park Archives, this is a still from an Edison motion picture produced around 1910. They do not know the title of this film.

I didn't read the article and I'm sure nothing said was worth engaging. Fascists mistaking satire for reality is par for the course. In 100 years, reactionary propaganda hasn't changed one bit.
