The Biden and most of the media have made zero effort to educate the public. Odd - isn't it? It seems kinda important. But, hey, in this "new normal" the economy is doing really great right now!

I only learned about the abysmal booster number from a tweet and he, me and you all had the same thought.

A Bob Dylan lyric is "negativity don't pull you through". In my case - of course not. I'm not nearly droomery enough. If I didn't already know the answer - I would have probably thought it was surely at least ~%40.

Boosters are totally free and have walk in appointments. They're literally available in grocery stores.

This isn't just economics or poverty or whatever. It's pure ideology.

I can't think of any one stat that makes it more blunt that America is doomed

When I got mine, I had to check ten different stores, because the federal vaccine-finder website listed a whole bunch that didn't have any in stock, and had never had any in stock.

Part of me really just wants to leave the US for this very reason: I do not belong here. I am too ideologically different from normies here.

I'm always going to be an outcast because globally the hogs remain undefeated in the culture wars, but at least I can worry less about getting hunted down for my unpopular opinions elsewhere.

I actually just got mine, I spaced out my first two shots (which I actually think was correct considering how long the vax works) so I was just kinda hitting the window where my immunity was getting iffy.

It's gonna be bad though. There's very poor education about vax effectiveness, and honestly Americans are already very complacent about flu shots which are kinda the same ballpark

I don't know if you saw my comment. Here it is - https://hexbear.net/post/175447/comment/2168621

I'm trying really hard to not to rant and/or repeat myself. Maybe next week I'll post a 1,000+ covid rant in this comm. tl;dr - I'm enraged by all this human sacrifice to Capitalism and Mammon.

The funniest (in doomer terms to me) is that this whole even of get back to work and die serfs during a plague is legit the proverbial FEMA Walmart except it's just the country and ideology we are trapped in with the whole conspiracy just being that the rich are cool with killing off a good swath of the population to make lines go up. Like we legit got statistical derived death panels on acceptable covid losses and yet it's not that causing the chuds to protest cuss of course not lmao

through various polls and stats ive noticed that around 20-30% of america has legitimately left wing values. there is roughly that same percent of people that are outright nazis

This is probably kinda true but since there's no structure whatsoever to channel these people 99% of them fall in to the Democrats with AOC and Ilhan representing their voice in the party (obv not even close to 20 pct)

yeah most end up with very solidly left wing views but then channel that energy into failed pursuits, while well meaning, will never amount to anything historically speaking. plenty age into communism if they ever find other people irl with the same views
