My god tinder is awful. I downloaded it today and I already want to revert to monke. It's so vapid, after I used it I immediately had to go watch Yugopnik's video on the commodifaction of love. Everyone posts the same, clean, inoffensive pictures and you're supposed to swipe based solely on if you think someone is hot or not
Also the commercialisation is ridiculous, you have to pay to see who "liked" you? What the fuck is the point? I'm giving this goddamn app until tomorrow, if anyone interesting matches me then I guess it might have been useful, if not I'm deleting it forever
It sucks, imagine dropping a pebble down a well, but not hearing if it hits the bottom.
That’s what it feels like.
Tinder is fun to swipe on for like a day or two at most then any fun deteriorates completely. The last time I was single I used it again for a bit, but immediately remembered why I stopped using it last time
Will you get banned if you upload a paragraph of Kapital as your swiping pic?
lol i guess we'll find out
so there essentially is no free version? lol. lmao
Giving tinder 10 bucks for them to tell me no one swiped right
If you want to see who liked you without being a match, then you have to pay. I can only imagine that if you pay it will just reveal a bunch of people you aren't interested in matching with (which is why you didn't match in the first place).
Oh that makes a lot more sense. Yeah i dont get why someone would want to see who swiped right on them if it wasn't a match
The dating app scene is soul sucking for a lot of people who don't get matches consistently, so it definitely becomes a mind game of "what if there's a cutie who I swiped on by accident? The app says there's 10 people, I'll just pay the 10 bucks and see for myself"
