Are we owned for insisting that the US intel about Putin's imminent attack was fake?

Well if Uncle Sam tries to call me up from inactive reserve to go fight alongside Ukrainian Nazis, I'm going to Canada.

lol we imported Uki chauvinists by the truckload up here after the war.

I'd expect the average Ukrainian-Canadian to be way more reactionary than the average Ukrainian.

i dont think the position of leftists has been diluted in any meaningful way. perhaps aesthestically to people who use politics as aesthetics, but the leftist position was still the right one to take. there is no place for nato or us imperialism here.

very very sad to see, and i am sad that the seemingly obvious material answer to this has been incorrect this time, but i still believe the analysis was correct.

"I'm not owned! I'm not owned!" I cry as the siege of Kiev goes on for another week. Tomorrow I will meet my fate at the hands of a 152mm shell, but until then I am adamant that Putin will not invade and this is just Biden posturing to distract from covid.

Turns out that months of brinksmanship only works if you're willing to commit an army to back it up.

That said, I don't see the EU agreeing to be NATO's battleground over this, and I don't see how the US could intervene and fight a war with Russia without heavy, heavy use of conscription. The western front alone would be 5,000 kilometers long.

Here's a livestream, although of course it's 90% speculation and pictures of fires in various cities. https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=jNZM_H6q1rY

Also no way Putin is going to denazify anything

Wagner nazis just got owned so badly by jihadists in Mozambique that they had to leave and the South African National Defence Forces had to be deployed to stabilize the situation.

Wagner was literally worse than a bunch of pensioner apartheid military PMCs that were deployed before the actual South African army as well.

Yeah the speech gets worse and worse from Putin based on translations I've seen. Something about "greater consequences ever seen in history?" Is that a nuclear threat?

Putin is legitimately not good, makes Assad look great by comparison.

But there's weird Putin praise in a ton of leftist circles because he takes anti imperialist stances out of necessity.

There’s also shit like “wel the Russian nazi forces aren’t as important because they are bad at fighting” which is one weird fucking cope . As is ignoring all the weird ass shit Putin said about Ukrainians not being real.

Both sides have nazis, Russia seems to have them more actively being used (the far right alliance has what 5% support this week during polling in Ukraine?)

                    Both have nazis

                    Both are fucking gross

                    War is gross

I really was hoping it wouldn’t come to this

                    FUCK

I mean the Russian PMC Nazis are terrible at fighting, but they also committed regular warcrimes in Mozambique. They're definitely are important in a bad way. It's the Nazis in the actual Russian military that are the most concerning. But yeah, WW3 is just going to be some massive Nazi infighting I guess. Horrifying

You are correct. And it tracks The SS, the most Nazi of all Nazis, were also shit at fighting.

I was specifically brining them up because whenever people rightfully brought them up during the whole “Ukraine is nazi” circle jerk the common rebuttal was “well they suck so doesn’t count” which was WEEIIIRD.

But like you said the war crimes and the actual nazis are the big issue. I’m not going tod efend Ukraine being lax with far right groups but they DO only have like 5% of support and less in the government. It’s not like it was the Nazi shit on the verge of couping the govenrment people made it out to be.

I’m not going to try to defend Ukraine or Russia. Both sucks. War sucks. But the weird circle jerk was real and strange.

No one is gonna win this shit.
