It's a Slav thing. You won't understand. In 1944 Polish Underground resistance army started the Warsaw Uprising, despite having no weapons, tanks, ammo etc. just to shame the West into helping them. Surprise, nothing happened, 100 thousand civilians died and city was mowed to the ground by the nazis.
