Nah, the moment is long gone. Not interested any more. They had one chance, and they blew it. On purpose.

I am pretty sure I know exactly where you dropped off and everyone including David Lynch hates the middle point of season 2. It gets saved in the end of the season in a way that wipes the bullshit clean and gets back to the core of things in a way that would surprise you how well it does so, the season 2 finale is as good as the pilot. Fire Walk With Me and The Return are somewhat their sons beasts all together. The shitty slump doesn't seem as long when you can watch several episodes in one night. It's not a show for everyone but based on your complaints it's something that was course corrected before a lot of people on here were born

No. David Lynch had one chance. I got all excited for nothing. Never watched anything by him since.

The zeitgeist has long since gone, watching the show wouldn't be the same. It was like Max Headroom, an artifact of its time.

I was born during the second season, didn't see the show until I was 20 and behind the various Star Treks it's my favorite show. If you don't wanna watch it, fine,. It it does have way more going on than you know about and becomes compel again and then goes real fucking weird after. Watch it or don't, but that slump did break, it said it would see us again in 25 years, it did and it fucking ruled hard.
