Being told this is fairly reliable for info on the situation in Ukraine. let me know if it isn’t. https://liveuamap.com/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2022_Russian_invasion_of_Ukraine#/media/File:2022_Russian_invasion_of_Ukraine.svg

Something good could come of this by accident - https://twitter.com/shirleyzeyu/status/1497714464413700097
China will probably be the biggest winner of the conflict
Thank to Russia turn everything upside down, and cause distraction so the west can’t pivot to them
that's what the conventional wisdom is. there are already rumors that the paccom ghouls pushing for a china war are looking to put even more aggressive psychos in charge of paccom so they can speed up their plans

Lol Russia is fucked if this is true. No one wants to trade in RMB, not even Chinese companies, but if this happens, then the Chinese have the Russians by the balls. The Chinese government is no friends to Russia, just have mutual enemies. They are gonna make profits off Russia and get cheap source off natural resources.
Lavrov did said after press conference, that's Russia going to be depend on China, so yea. They also settle border dispute and in deep cooperation with no forbiden area.
Ya no shit, who else would they depend on. No idea who's idiotic idea it was to invade Ukraine, should have just sent troops into Eastern Ukraine and called it a day.
Who else would they have depended on indeed. I don’t know if this was a stupid idea. Definitely caught me and many other leftists by surprise. If Putin not just gets Ukraine but also permanently ends NATO expansion through this then it wasn’t a bad idea. Idk time will tell
Chinese foreign policy is the complete opposite to the US. In short the only 2 reasons the USD is the world reserve currency is the aircraft carrier fleet and oil. China could and will eventualy be a military superpower but they are not going around enforcing their deals like the US.
If the eventual Putin successor ends up breaking deals and completely giving up to the West, China will only say "ha glad you are joining the losing team, good luck my friends you'll need it."
China will deal in economic power only because this is their advantage, they could care less if Russia makes the wrong decisions later, though they'll try to make their best case for cooperation and restraint.
On the contrary, China and Russia are very close and this has probably been planned for some time. You're not really paying attention if you think they only have mutual enemies. There's a lot of mutual respect, warmth, and increasing ideological alignment, even despite Russia no longer being Socialist.
My man really wrote a fanfic about "Mutual respect, warmth, and increasing ideological alignment" China is gonna make decisions that are beneficial for themselves, at the detriment off others, just like everyone else. China needs energy and raw materials that they lack, they are don't particular give a fuck about the Russian people. They were antagonistic to Russians at the beginning off the pandemic, they just share similar ideas in regards to geopolitics.
One off these days China is gonna come and save Russia by spreading socialism, probably when hell freezes over.
are you chinese? you might like this editorial video from guancha's board on how an alliance with russia is necessary to combat the "primary contradiction" which is US imperialism and aggression towards china
No, what would ever make you think I am Chinese
you seem to posture like an expert on china so i assumed you were one.

oh so you're like every other expert on china: don't understand the language, culture, or politics but then lash out when a chinese person tells you that you are wrong. interesting tendency imo

but you were commenting on china, not russia. i never said anything about russia, just that the modern PRC leadership wants to put aside the historical secondary contradictions and work with russia on the primary contradiction

Are you seriously telling this user that he couldn't understand your words which were written in English because they're Chinese?
I said there was some misunderstanding in what he thinks I was saying as he was rambling about some centuries old border disputes and thinking I was referencing that, which I wasn't. "modern PRC leadership wants to put aside the historical secondary contradictions" when I didn't even mention that nor was that a subject off anything I said.
okay
Yeah they've been building trust and a relationship for years now.

Why is it so hard to get some leftists to believe the obvious thing that's been happening over the course of years, possibly since 1999?
2 hour old account, probably a lazy psyop
