Not bad news tbh, the protests need to continue into a Biden presidency and Kopmala might be the catalyst for that.
Will she be that much of a catalyst? It's a terrible symbolic choice for sure, and it's real bad if Biden can't fulfill the duties of the office and she becomes the president... but otherwise, VPs don't really do anything.
