It just occurred to me that if Donald Trump won re-election, this Ukraine situation may have never happened. Trump didn’t like NATO, he liked Putin. Along with his recent comments about the whole deal… He may have just straight up rejected Ukraine’s attempt to join for a better relationship with Russia/Putin. Which just goes to show all the people who said US foreign policy would be better off with Trump instead of Biden were right. If this war goes nuclear or even if Russia starts a massive ground invasion… Donald Trump straight up would’ve been a better president than Joe Biden.

No definitely not a good president. But a better one than Biden. Which is a VERY low bar.
Trump would also go WAY harder on Iran than anything Biden is currently doing. And with the amount of damage that COVID did to that country, there would probably be some sort of breaking point.

Trump tried and failed to push for warmer relations with Russia even as he was arming Ukraine because he knew they'd make a good ally against China. The Biden line is fuck them both.
