    Fun reminder: The black sun has origins in the Swastika but it is not remotely historical before the Nazis. It was most famously used as a mosaic in one of Himmler's lairs. It is not pagan. It is not nordic. Those are lies.

    It was designed, iirc, as a kind of swastika-wheel out of Sig runes. You know, the SS runes.

      Himmler was a big time larper who would make up dumb "Germanic" shit and pretend he was in some kind of pagan Knights of the round table story. Few people bought into it, and Hitler thought he was a moron.

        He really was like a 4chan Nazi, a pit of endless cruelty but completely inept at anything in the real world. Like when Hitler gave him control of an acutal army, he was just insanely bad at commanding, even for Nazi generals. He was literally fantasizing about the crusades as the Soviets devastated his army group in the Vistula–Oder Offensive.
