- No cat belonging to exhibitors living in Russia may be entered at any FIFe show outside Russia, regardless of, which organization these exhibitors hold their membership in.
So far the International Canine Association has said nothing about Russian dogs. Russian birds cannot be stopped from flying over the border.

i dunno if it's still like this, but in the mid 2000s, a friend of mine finished their peace corps tour in Maghreb and was coming home. they had adopted a cat while they were living there and were bringing it home. she said she put the cat into a cat carrier and brought it with her. nobody at any level of customs gave a shit about its licensing or any other papers. it was just a cat on a plane and then a cat in the states.
i remember that blew my mind. like, i'm not really complaining. no borders for cats gang reporting. i just assumed there would be some kind of disease/import inspection process for pets or just some kind of papershuffle bullshit. easier to bring a cat into the US than a tube of toothpaste.
Tbf, I once brought an entire bottle of sunscreen I forgot in my backpack on a Trans-Atlantic flight, and nobody mentioned it. Most of this shit is clearly security theatre.
