I'm very aware of groups like the Azov Batallion and Right Sektor and a few others. But isn't it also true that the Azov Batallion is only a tiny portion of their military and the far right ultranationalist groups don't hold any seats in their government?

I don't think anyones denying Ukraine has nazis. But the US and pretty much every other country also has nazis.

Is there something I'm missing with Ukraine? Again, the raw numbers just don't seem that major.

Please show me even one openly Nazi battlion supported and legitimized by the US military or government. The very fact that there's so many open fascists in the Ukranian forces - enough that even mainstream lib media seems to have trouble finding photos of soldiers without obvious insignias or symbols - is proof that they operate under the auspices of the Ukranian government.

"They don't hold any seats" doesn't hold any water. Why elect nazis when your government already supports them?

Edit: to say nothing about the extremely well documented, very unambiguous history of Ukrainian fascism since WW2. Please don't pretend this is some lefty hysteria.

They have a national holiday for a fascist too, Banderites are a huge part of Ukrainian fascism too it's not just Azov.

Got it right here. SS logo and everything. But you're right, it's not really a battalion strength formation. But I bet the Marines have a couple of battalions worth of fascists spread out through the organization, not counting the entire officer corps.

True, but if you do that you have to count all the fascists spread throughout the Ukrainian military as well.
