          sidereal means you use the distant stars as reference for time, rather than the solar reference. It's useful for astronomy mostly since the same object at the same sidereal datetime will be in the same place, whereas in solar time they move around a bit.

        Like, is this saying they're going with even the most extreme version of the "firstborn son" inheritance strategy and that this kid ain't gonna get any of the billions, or what? LMFAO.

        Also, nerd rant: Gandalf, Elrond, and Bombadil also all "abdicated the ring". It was a pretty common theme for everyone outside of the idiots from Gondor to do that (credit to Faramir, who also rejected the temptation to go for it). So, like, okay: Galadriel was cool and the only prominent woman among the "great ones" from the main books, but picking her out specifically for the fact that she "abdicated the ring" is a pretty dumb. Obviously Grimes' "care-free not-at-all" attitude about reality extends to even the fiction she's a fan of. I really hate the phenomenon of celebrity (and private property, obviously, and when they're combined...).
