      I mean people were all upset over Michael Brooks' death (I was one of them) so this whole post just seems low key racist.

    Still a human. Unless he used his life to sow hatred, he deserves the respect we would show any fellow man. Fuck whatever cop-kissing he may have done - he still vied for a more equal field across race. Imo, at least.

    He was relatively young. Black Panther meant something to a lot of kids. And like it or not, the fact that he portrayed a superhero is significant. Superheroes are designed to transcend death. A death like this one is a reminder of mortality—something our culture desperately tries not to think about.
