I mean the red scare has never really stopped since it first started in the early 1900s but is there something specific you're referring to? Or just the noise around Ukraine in general?
IMO the "red scare 3" started in 2012 where the ultimate enemy according to the internet was SJWs and it's up to 4chan to save us from being criticized. Critical race theory and "anti-wokeness" is all part of that.

Y'all saying westerners somehow in general have wanted this like it's a vacuum have forgotten how half assed and fascistic the teaching of history is. They couldn't change it if they wanted to, but they don't because the consent is easy to manufacture and nothing in the outer world has any real bearing anyway. There's this radio station near me thats basically putting out commie agitprop constantly. They had that ex CIA guy being interviewed about the american funded bio-weapon labs in Ukraine the other night. Totally surprised the station exists. Today they were talking about supporting Starbucks unions.
