I get that supply chains are fucked but wtf you can get a PS4 on craigslist for like 150 maybe 200 bucks? Shit sucks bc I'm trying to cash out 300 in Amazon gift cards from the holidays for a PS4 so i can finally play persona 5 Royale and it just ain't happening chief
Even more absurd is this "now comes with a 60gb hard drive" LMAO
Bruh my gpu is dying and idk what even to replace it if it dies. The exact same card costs more used now that it did retail like 6 years ago
random vendors on amazon gonna take advantage of the chip shortages I guess but honestly $500 is insane for a ps4 slim.
you might just be better off using your amazon giftcards to purchase a visa giftcard through amazon (remember to tumble dry your digital currencies when laundering) and then using that to purchase a ps4 slim via swappa or ebay lol since you'll get a much better deal
I knew those were inflating like crazy when Nintendo discontinued them. I bought the 2DS, should've bought the N3DS I guess.
probably if you don't frame it as 'broken' (or if it is really 'broken' and relatively fixable)
although keep in mind a lot is like uh...$300-400 maybe?
And it's going to get worse overtime because collectible/scalper brain and childish understanding of supply-demand make a lot of people thinks anything that is:
- Old
- Somewhat uncommon
Means that those things are now worth 10x they are supposed to be.
Buy a gamestop giftcard on amazon, buy cheap ps4 from gamestop.
There have also been recent breakthroughs in PS4 homebrew, which means a PS4 that still hasn't been updated can be used for being a cool pirate. This boosts the price pretty hard.
