The more they push holodomor the more people will learn that it's nonsense. It has been a way into the left for many as realising certain things are nonsense is what softens people to learning more about what MLs believe.
It is one of the pieces of propaganda that I genuinely believe helps rather than hinders us. Just keep pointing out it's literally nazi propaganda that they are uncritically repeating and keep explaining the truth.
Each and every person that learns that it is nonsense ends up going down the road of radicalisation though.
It is one of the easiest pieces of propaganda to counter because it was literally started by nazis and they never ever bring this up. As soon as they learn this the whole things starts unravelling as they recognise that they've been misled.
It's way better for them to propagandise Uighurs or some shit because it's simply harder to counter. When stuff is hard to counter it doesn't produce more marxists, when stuff is easy to counter it produces more marxists.
They will learn it's nonsense if the information is there when they're ready to see it.
We should have a wiki with links to videos, books, articles, etc to debunk all these things since wikipedia sucks. I usually use hexbear search but sometimes there are no sources cited, like yesterday I searched for Saddam gassing the kurds and found that the US assisted him (!) from a hexbear post but naturally I would like to cite this to people and the post has no sources.
(umm post by @Mrtryfe https://hexbear.net/post/177529/comment/2202007 but search for kurds down...the link feature is broken or something)
In the early 1970s, Iraq nationalized U.S. petroleum interests and partnered with the Soviet Union to develop its oil capacity. U.S. officials covertly equipped Kurdish rebels in order to weaken the Iraqi government. Although Iraq neutralized the Kurdish problem through diplomacy with Iran, it criticized foreign powers that backed the Kurds and it displayed renewed anti-U.S. tendencies in its approach to Arab-Israeli issues in the late 1970s.
Liberals don’t disbelieve anything the media tells them about bad stuff happening in other countries. Their so scared of being on the wrong side of history he just swallow anything and don’t risk doubting it. I once asked a liberal if they would believe the media if the claimed Andorra was genociding umpalumpas and they said “yeah sure, don’t want to be a denialist”.

Considering it’s still a talking point today proves this theory wrong
Expecting ANYTHING from liberals is a flawed theory.

Bad propaganda is counter productive.

In reference to the US helping Saddam. These are from declassified CIA documents. Dow Chemical sold 1.5 million dollars worth of pesticides that were in likelihood used as chemical weapons. Military intelligence was provided by the US to help Iraq coordinate chemical attacks.
Worth noting that Donald Rumsfeld, also mentioned in the above article, one of the architects of the second Iraq War went and met with Saddam to facilitate billions in dollars of loans to Saddam so that he could purchase military equipment. There's more in this article about the kinds of assistance the US provided. Article has sourcing.
Also of note:
An overview of Iraq's communist history, and how the Kurds have been used as a wedge against Iraq becoming communist dating back to the late 50s. The US had contacts with Saddam as early as the late 50s in order to help the unpopular Ba'ath party gain power.
I knew that Rumsfeld bit from the Defiance, Ohio song "Tanks, tanks, tanks"
TANKS TANKS TANKS! BOMBS BOMBS BOMBS!
