    I had a chat with him a while back when Palestine was in the news and basically what he told me was that he tries really hard not to trigger cognitive dissonance in his audience which includes a whole lot of people across the political spectrum. That more radical people will call him out or dismiss him on certain things and that he doesn't care because most of what he's doing isn't talking to them. He's trying to resuscitate basic critical thinking that is all but dead in American politics.

    Do I agree with that tactic? IDK it's worth a shot I guess.

    Do I think he could go a lot harder given his cred with libs and maybe even some chuds? Yes.

      I think leftists here tend to forget that the point of a pipeline is to funnel people slowly. We are at our various places along the pipeline, with our different perspectives now that we've gotten here. So of course we will notice when someone closer to the entrance has a bad or milquetoast take.

      It's easy to forget that the average American has about 17 inches of anticommunist social programming protecting their brains. You have to ease folks in slowly.

      I think we also forget that these videos are not entertainment, and aren't for us anymore. So it's perfectly fine to outgrow someone like Beau, and I bet he'd be happy that we did.

              I don't argue (usually) I just try to post some supplementary material that sometimes conflicts with their worldview but mostly just trying to sprinkle some more breadcrumbs on the path.
