I just hate anything that tries to be self-serious but is primarily riffing. Love stuff like citations needed, American prestige, and RWN because they're very content or history focused, they're self-serious but they take the content seriously. Love stuff like chapo, pod damn America and stuff because they're riffing, but they're really comedy first. Trying to be taken very seriously but just sort of making it up on the spot is just not particularly enjoyable. It's both less entertaining and less informative than either format, and at that point why bother.
