what do you guys think of the DPRKs recent change in official stance on reunification? all I really have for referance is lib articles talking about how Kim Jong Un is literally 1984 and wants to nuke every square inch of land on earth.

uh, not sure if this is recent, but the north and south now have the same timezone. I think North Korea used to be 30 minuets behind?

Not particularly from what I recall. It basically said they gotta move to liberate the south rapidly should the unthinkable happen

They sincerely believe that the US and South Korea are preparing to start a war with them. They're making defensive preparations.

The change in stance on reunification is a change in stance on peaceful reunification, and makes it extremely clear to their opponents that they are on a war footing and are taking it completely and totally seriously. I think part of the problem they face is being taken seriously by the other side after so many years of hostilities.
