"Their nation needs to be broken up into ten or so separate countries, their assets placed in international trust, and all denuclearized, and an occupational force established for a generation to prevent the Gaslight Empire from ever reestablishing itself again. Make them have to think for themselves and deal with the endless, boring drudgery of modern dem0r.cracy."

    "hahaha. Well played, sir"

    "One scenario

-Karelia, Vilpuri and maybe the Murmansk area ceded to Finland -Kuril Islands and maybeeee Sakhalin ceded to Japan. - Königsberg goes to Germany, Poland or direct control from the EU -Some sort of federation of the Caucus republics -Minority areas with separate countries -St Petersburg and surrounding area is either a separate republic or direct control from the EU -Crimea and Donbass returned to Ukraine. It would be a kinda bad idea for Ukraine to begin administering areas like Belgorod, Kursk etc. as they would revolt the second it's convenient for them. -Versailles treaty level reparations -The rest of Russia is a liberal Democratic Republic that has either banned or ostracized far-right and far-left parties to prevent another Nazi Germany.

Another scenario -Kuril Islands given to Japan -Crimea and Donbass are returned to Ukraine -Hold fair independence referendums for ethnic minority regions, conducted by the West. -Russia becomes a free Democratic Republic."

"news flash: germany already said fuck no to königsberg in 91. who wants to feed a poor piece of land populated by foreigners"

"fuck no we don’t want that shitstain königsberg"

"Holy motherf0RKing shirt balls, this is the world I want to live in!"

"their nation is basically a shitstain on humanity at this point."

"Russia never been a proud Country. 650 years of shit. that’s it"

I don't think Ukrainian nationalists need any help from the US Feds to be extremely red, mad, and nude on main.

Are those posters mostly Ukrainian nationalists? I was under the impression most of them are just Americans/ Brits commenting on the Ukraine subbredit. Why would a sub full of Ukrainian nationalists all be speaking English to each other? I'm sure some of them are there, but for the most part I believe it's an astroturfed exercise in building a Western consensus, like most of reddit.

Everyone speaks English, Reddit is primarily part of the English speaking internet, and Ukrainians are trying to drum up as much support for their cause as possible.

I'm sure they have Ukrainian forums where they speak Ukrainian.

              Everyone speaks English

I know more people learn English than vice-versa because imperialism, but I seriously doubt the plurality of people on the Ukrainian subreddit right now are actually native Ukrainian. Especially after the conflict flared up and there was an international outcry. But even looking through Web Archive back before Euromaidan happened in 2014, the subreddit was full of threads like "can anyone translate this ukrainian for me?" and "me and my girlfriend are visiting odessa." i.e. not natives.

The main country subs are almost always Americans in America. Countries normally have another set of subs for immigrants who actually live there. Natives don’t browse Reddit since it’s only really popular in America.

We had to occupy russia in response to russia occupying.

Also "the Gaslight Empire" might be the most lib-brained shit I've ever heard.

      Königsberg goes to Germany

place with zero germans and is disconnected from germany because the wholesome prussian empire started there (learned this on my map game :so-true: )

It was ethnically cleansed after WWII, that's why there's no Germans there. The Russians still occupy the place because it was the capital city of Prussia. A nation that kept invading Russia over and over again. Well the final time they tried, Russia came back, ripped the beating heart out of the place and annexed it to make sure that would never, ever happen again. It's worked so far but we're not out yet.
