We steadfastly maintained that the real enemy and foremost danger was not Fascism, much less Mussolini the man, but rather the anti-fascism that Fascism – with all of its crimes and infamies – would have created. This anti-fascism would breathe life into that great poisonous monster, a great bloc comprising every form of capitalist exploitation, along with all of its beneficiaries: from the great plutocrats down to the laughable ranks of the half-bourgeois, intellectuals and the laity.

"We need to fight fascism by voting for these two New Jim Crow finance imperialists/prison slavers" read Marx, cancerous radlibs :amber:

Is it ever used unironically? I just can't imagine anyone who isn't twitch-youtube poisoned would ever say these words. But I thought the same about tankie, and we at a minimum of one federal election from a democrat using it.

I think it might have come from Vaush? Not sure if he used the exact phrase, I don't follow :funny-clown-hammer: beyond whatever gets posted here, I remember him posting some kind of virgin-vs-chad meme with the chad being a leftist who votes for Biden, that might have been the origin.

Although he definitely qualifies as "twitch-youtube poisoned", so not sure if anyone outside of that sphere has used it.

I'm pretty sure it's only used by us to describe people who call themselves anarchists but simp for the Democrats.

Should change it to anarcho-liberal for when Biden is gone, and because the word liberal is a genuine insult among the left. Those that don't get upset about being called it will out themselves to the real anarchists.

It is used "ironically" by which I mean they cloud their actual beliefs in a thin veneer of ironic ideology.

They do believe in "anarcho-Bidenism" but they distance themselves from how insane it is to believe in it by making jokes about it.

Anti fascism and anti imperialism, especially today, are contradictory positions as far as Marxism is concerned because there is no internationale to hold those two halfs together.

If an imperial power invades a fascist one then which side do you take?

Can you agitate for revolutionary defeatism if the alternative is a foreign capitalist over a local capitalist? What's revolutionary about that? Why do you even need Marxism to justify taking a liberal position?

There are literally only three comments on this article, and one of them is:

"...seriously, why is this authoritarian being posted on a libertarian communist website? Particularly as he clearly learned nothing from the failure of the Russian Revolution and of Marxism."

Ah, leftist infighting. Leftist infighting never changes.
