As if anyone else needed another reason to be a “tankie”
The #1 news source in the US has an article on their front page advocating parents’ rights to invalidate/traumatize their children 
This hit me hard because my parents emotionally abused the hell out of me and that’s a common occurrence for kids growing up in bigoted households
This framing is so fucking nefarious. It’s in no uncertain terms claiming that children are a piece of property to be treated however parents see fit and seeing complete invalidation of someone’s humanity as an “ideological disagreement”
Literally treating the state of Indiana like the caricature of the government in God’s not dead 5 or whatever
This is nothing new, conservatives have always viewed children as property.
They tend to randomly start defending assault and battery against children unprompted. I have to wonder if they just spend hours every day fantasizing about “disciplining” kids like the psycho fucks they are
