Ya know I don't ever really leave trans twitter, so going into Democrat twitter and seeing the absolute sheer contempt that they have for anyone who doesn't worship their politics let alone is to the left them is really kind of stunning.

Republicans in Congress don't hate his guts. They love the guy as one of their own. Opposition to Biden never extends to the breadbasket issues of American policy - military/police spending, regulatory capture, and bailouts for insiders.
Past that, the Republicans Biden is trying to impress already crossed over in prior election cycles. Your Bloomberg / Steyer / Bush voters are all trending Democrat now. Mission Accomplished.
The folks Biden has alienated are Trump Republicans - who were already in revolt within their own party - and newer Obama/Bernie Democrats - who have become increasingly disillusioned with liberal democracy entirely.
