If you think otherwise you are wrong

Cats are incapable of flattery because there is nothing they need from anyone ∴ All affection a cat shows you is purely honest and is shown because it brings the cat pleasure to show it.

Cat is a perfect character. Unlike rimmer who couldn't even smoke a kipper and he wouldn't be back for breakfast

they truly are, no doubt about it

even seeing pictures of cats is enough to lift my mood, because they are pure perfection

My kitty, Simon, is as loyal as any dog. He always greets me at the door and he comes running to me when I call his name. The amount of affection he gives me is almost annoying... almost meow-hug

my cat once got on my chest, looked in my eyes, wretched two or three times, and then just got off

    she also

    cw gross and dead animal

brought a dead baby bunny in the house and crunched off and ate its head in front of me and left its decapitated body

for me to clean up. more times than I can count, actually, that's her favorite part I guess

she is still, in fact, perfect, for better or for worse

This is why we don't outdoor our cats. The vomitting is always funny tho my cat find the absolute worst places to vom almost like its a challenge

Living with an outdoor cat has absolutely solidified my stance on outdoor cats. She's kind of my mom's cat though, so I didn't really get a say, I just get to help clean up the consequences what-the-hell

We can understand the wrong we do, and yet we still do it.

        Animals are innocent.

i think animals understand more than we think, and we understand less than we think. we are products of our environment too, somewhat.

I doubt they have the same ability to understand the world and their impact on it. They don't have written knowledge or education systems. My point is that as humans we have this huge store of shared knowledge and experience that spend millennia, and yet despite all of this we still insist on treating each other and the world like complete shit.

Cats, dogs and animals in general do not have that, and to suggest that they do is laughable. They are innocent in that they simply do what their instincts and personal life experience has taught them.

Thats a good point, but despite humans ability to think, I see many people living life just like that: Relying on their instincts and recent life experience without a drop of tought beyond that.

House cats are mid at best. Basically a roaming houseplant that makes your home smell like piss and commit avian genocide if not kept in containment.

The ones that want to stay inside are. The ones that don't can be forgiven, they just need to be kept inside.

I'd love an orange cat. I even picked out a name if I'm ever lucky enough to adopt one: Daxter
