The cope in that thread is amazing:

What if the myth helps to keep your house standing?

Idealists don’t believe in magic. They know their fictions won’t stop missiles, but they know if they convince the western populations of the ideas of how dastardly and evil those missiles are and that justice must prevail over the evil enemies then you can pull the nation into a suicidal lose-lose war that no realist or materialist would have considered

more people believe in magic than you'd think. And lots of modern notions rest squarely on magical thinking. just because they don't believe in cackling witches and wizards doesn't mean people don't believe in magic.

for example the belief that by skilful legal counsel or prosecution someone can become innocent or guilty is a magical notion. As is the belief that the printer will jam because you have an important job to do

Maybe he is more than a fighter pilot. Maybe he is an idea, a world-historical hero, light itself. The cockpit is too small for him. He belongs to a much more elite class of Ukrainians, the more-than-pilots. Volodymir Zelenskyy, Michael Chomiak, Stepan Fucking Bandera.

"Title will go to the senior pilot for the most kills"

So, I presume for Ukraine it will be a posthumous medal considering they are all dead or gone?

    It's literally war propaganda.

This person knows it's war propaganda, and is trying to get people to stop telling the truth. What a piece of shit.

Ghost of Tsushima is pretty naked Japanese propaganda. Literally naked if you unlock that one costume.

I'm not sure how much more Russia can do to "win" when Zelenskyy refuses to surrender and the Russian military isn't stupid enough to grind the entire country into dust, America-style. Ukraine is constantly drip-fed American arms and armor, but how long is it going to take until there's nobody left who is willing to pick up a gun?
