If it weren't for the obvious horrible human cost to the Solomon Islanders, I would say that it'd be funny as shit to watch America and Australia lose again to a vastly less powerful country.

Solomon Islands is so tiny I don’t see how that could even happen, the US would impose their will on Solomon Islands easily like with Grenada.

China just needs to send a few cruise missiles and drones. The only way to get there is by plane or boat, and the Pacific fleet is essentially a sitting duck against modern missile and drone tech.

Wouldn't happen because they're smarter than that, but China takes Taiwan citing the "Australia precedent".

Hahaha, your not wrong what is the plan, its the same with the usa with the flick of the wrist, China can thanos snap your economy out of existence, What thr fuck is the plan? It takes decades to revive industry & even if you manage who is gonna sell you the rare materials in key sectors like electronics, Again flick of the wrist and your not tradeing in the belt in road. :xi-reactionary-spotted:

I grow tired of repeating it, so this will be the last time:

Russia's issue was neither with Ukraine joining the EU nor about Ukraine joining NATO.

The invasion is solely about Russian imperial revanchism and the EXISTENCE of Ukraine as an independent state per se.

When you definitely understand the situation.

Hey at least their profile admits what's up:

Opinions are my own. And stupid.

Pet peeve but I don’t like it when people say revanchism when they should say irredentism. Revanchism is pretty synonymous with reactionary, whereas irredentism can be correct from an anti-colonialist/anti-imperialist perspective - such as in the case of Palestine, The Golan Heights, Taiwan, etc.

as we all know having millions of russian speakers being starved out or dehydrated in ukraine is a revanchist call to arms

Ukraine flag empji: it's cool and good when a state invades another and installs a friendly government to resolve a conflict between two nations.

Democrats: Republicans that try to hide behind a flimsy shield of manners.

It's like a vampire arguing that he is superior to an orc because of how classy the former is.
