If it weren't for the obvious horrible human cost to the Solomon Islanders, I would say that it'd be funny as shit to watch America and Australia lose again to a vastly less powerful country.
Solomon Islands is so tiny I don’t see how that could even happen, the US would impose their will on Solomon Islands easily like with Grenada.
China just needs to send a few cruise missiles and drones. The only way to get there is by plane or boat, and the Pacific fleet is essentially a sitting duck against modern missile and drone tech.

Pet peeve but I don’t like it when people say revanchism when they should say irredentism. Revanchism is pretty synonymous with reactionary, whereas irredentism can be correct from an anti-colonialist/anti-imperialist perspective - such as in the case of Palestine, The Golan Heights, Taiwan, etc.
Minor gripe may have been a better phrase. Oh god now I’m saying the wrong things
