Also, how dare you point out that I haven't watched the thing I'm complaining about.

Oh shit. Whoops, lol. Still, though, I hold onto my take that after-credit scenes from Marvel movies damaged my ability to enjoy some otherwise good ones. I feel like years of Marvel's after-credit scenes affected the way current Marvel movies behave now. I feel cued in to pay attention to a reference or scene that is just a hint at another movie. They don't feel like standalone movies. I know that's not the point, but still. But hey, I can acknowledge that this is based on my own personal tastes.

I do agree that the after credit scenes are bad! Waiting for that follow up tease distracts from digesting the movie you just finished. I sat through them since my friends wanted to

Totally with you on that. I like to go to the movies by myself and really let the movie sink in as the credits music washes over me and most people shuffle out of the theater. Also gives ample time for my tears to dry if applicable.

You're a good friend. I like to bring my wireless earbuds after a movie ends so that way I can shut myself in as the credits roll and my friends let me know when the After-Credits thing happens. Processing media is very crucial to me too.
