There's a whole shitload of shenanigans going on at OnlyFans and I think its a combination of money laundering and stealing from the workers. And these aren't just any hard-workers, these are the hardest-workers. Sex workers deserve a fair shake.

They're currently using a click farm/troll army to attack some young actress over a predatory rule change they implemented around the same time she had a minor scandal on the platform. Now she's getting death threats while they oligarch who owns the side is starting to be investigated.

i feel like this kinda stuff is a big warning there isn't actually enough money going around to support this many sex workers and a bubble is about to pop. The banking stuff in there is really damning.

I totally agree but I think you might have the mechanisms backwards. It's not a sex-work bubble. That really doesn't make sense. Regardless of how much time we're spending at home, consumers have never had less disposable income.

This entire "OnlyFans blows up as entertainers turn to sex work" narrative is bullshit. Think about Manhattan alone. How much money laundering was happening in various ways throughout all of the citys massive revenue streams. Well all that shit stopped. The money has to go somewhere and they have bots, trolls and sex workers so they use click farms to create a vibe that "everyone is doing it" so they can launder all they want.

If you look at the rule changes that they keep trying to blame on bella, one element is that if you are an account that doesn't charge for prescription, you can't charge maximum tip rates for the first few months. How is that a problem for real artists? It just isn't, but it's a massive problem for people using click farms to start accounts and pump revenue through them under the guise of sex work. How is changing the tip max a problem? Cut the picture in two and send two $100 pics instead of one $200 pic.

If you're running a payment processor the time it takes to complete a payout is also the amount of your workers pay you'll have on hand at any moment and this means more worker pay in your pocket with you shut down/go bankrupt. Or its just that he's stealing enough to bribe the right people to keep getting away with it.

OnlyFans is a predatory workers rights circumvention platform and I think it owner is just a human trafficker with an algorithm.
